We have a bathroom remodel that is basically a matter of stripping the ugly tile, wallpaper, and mustard yellow paint. All of the plumbing fixtures are fine. I plan on redoing the shower, and am curious as to whether it's worth removing the plastic shower pan and laying some nice crisp white ceramic tile instead.

Any advice? I'm curious as to whether it'll be worth the work, and what that work will be...

welcome - how about a first name?

you've asked a pretty open-ended question without giving us much in the way of details about your overall project. So I'll pass along my own favorite piece of open-ended advice:

When in doubt, rip it out!! :smash:

Hmmm, old plastic shower pan or new tiled shower pan. And you are having trouble deciding?
