Good to be back. Not sure the title spelling is right though.
I have a small outdoor entry that has developed a grout color imperfection. The entry has a canopy. The grout and tile was installed the same day (speed set), but on a very gloomy day. It had rained in the morning and the job was done in the afternoon, with an overcast. The grout lines near the outside edge faded to a bleachy bone compared to a tan.
1) What could of caused this?
2) Is there a fix without staining?

You could try a sulfamic acid with a scrubber.Rinse well. This works on rare occassions. You may have success though.

First of all, saturate the grout with water. Add one part acid to eight parts acid.

Yeah, wear rubber gloves, too, especially if you use my formula. :D

Yes, eight parts water to begin with.
