My husband is installing granite tiles as a countertop for our kitchen. While I was at the store I also picked out a Travertine floor. My question is he is going to use epoxy on the granite and when I was discussing this with the guy at the store he said to also use it on the floor with the Travertine. Neither one of us had given this any thought. Is this how you would do it? Any ideas on the Travertine floor? He was going to use unsanded grout.

Epoxy grout wont need to be sealed but is a bit more difficult to work with.
It will also enhance your travertine, which means in other words it will
give it a look similar to when its wet without the shine. If you follow the
directions on the epoxy kit to the T you will be fine. Best of luck.
