Hi

i am looking to set a standing river stone (pebbles on a 4 by 12 inch sheet bound together with a mesh on a retaining wall that shows signs of hydrostatic pressure. now the amount is not great but wet spots do show on the retaining wall. I recently just scratched and brown coated the wall in prep for the standing pebbles. Just wondering if the water from behind would cause a problem and if so what to apply to the brown coat prior to setting the stone with a basic gray thinset.
