Hey All!

So I finished tiling my bathroom floor last week. If you look very close it's obviously someone's first tile job, but it's not too bad! I'll take some photos today and post them.

Question - I was in the process of grouting when I came to the tile meeting the tub and I realized that I didn't know what to do. I've left space at the opposite wall for silcone to allow room for expansion/contraction, but should I have grouted that space between the tile and the tub or should I fill that in with silicone?

Thanks in advance!

Generally, the tub to tile transitiom is a change of plane and requires the use of caulk.

Lookin forward to seeing the pics - we all luv pics... :D

Either silicone or color matched caulking is good for both spots..

What Frank said. That joint needs the flexibility of a sealant and grout there would be very likely to crack. You did good leaving it open. :)
