Should the door land over center of it? Centered on the door jamb? Or should the door hide it from the outside? There is different tile inside vs. outside of bathroom. I just need to know where this marble piece is set. Its about 4" wide....

Thanks.

Centered in the jamb, unless you want a "different" look.

Being there to look at it would help. I'm assuming the door jamb is std. 4 - 9/16" in which case I think it's a toss up between centering it versus aligning it with the bathroom wall line. Will the floor tile cuts influence the choice at all?

Michael I think you mean where should it transition from one room to the next? The way I have seen them installed is when the door is shut the threshold extends 2 to 4 inches whichever you have towards the room with the door shut and yes the theshold is not visible then. Is that your question ?
