Hello fellow Houstonian,

If you just hang loose the floor might go underwater. I imagine that would put a shine on it. :D Don't know about you, but I've had enough of this rain.

Question is were the tiles shiney before you put them in? Maybe you've just got a little grout haze on them. Could that be?

Otherwise, you can put a top finish on them, but then you'd have to maintain it constantly. Every so often you'd have to re-do it.

Let us know. If it's not a grout haze problem and you still want to do the finish, you might put one of the stone finishes from Aquamix on.

Hi Erin,

Have you looked at Aquamix? The Saltillo finish coat possibly.

Products are sold at Home Depot.

Welcome to the Forum. Stop by to see us again. I like the Aqua mix products, as well.
