I read a form by scotto back in 2001, about a custum tile roman type tube.
I am putting on an addittion of a master suite. I have seen custom formed tubes in several book and magazines ( Great bathroom collection at home depot) and they show custom tubs made in tile, page 78 and page 111. is it really imposible? morriscindy

Look at www.wedi.de for some really interesting stuff. Not sure if they sell it in the states, but they do sell some of their stuff here.

A full tile tub is very possible. Labor intensive to do right (you don't want leaking, kinda defeats the purpose) and rather expensive, but very possible. I've done two, both with hydrament ultra-set ( a urethane based goop); next time I'd like to try Kerdi and their nifty looking roman tub drain.
