Having new cabinets installed and was wondering if I should wait till the cabinets are in place then tile or tile first. I'm thinking of waiting till the cabinets are in for less waste.

2: This has probably been brought up befroe but can you do half the tile one night then finish the next day. I have 256 sq feet to put down doesnt' seem like alot but this is my first try at laying tile.

3: I purchased porcelein tiles any thing I should know about these as far as special treatment when installing them etc.

Wait to do the tile until after the cabinets are installed.

Porcelain tile requires the proper thinset. It will say that it is suitable for porcelain on the bag.

Yes you can spread the tile installation over a few days or weeks if you want, grout all at the same time though.
