I have found a 1/8" wide crack running through a 30-year old concrete floor. When carpet was removed, the crack became noticeable. One run is about 10 ft and the other is smaller and about 3 feet. I am laying slate over the concrete floor.

What do I fill the crack with? What overlay should I use to isolate the crack from the tile to be laid?
