Hi gang, Just joined the forum (nice place you got here) and wondered about the latest tile trends you're seeing out there? I'm particularly curious about the upper-end homes, new and remodels, $500k and up (I realize "upper end" varies by market).

What are people actually installing as far as materials, colors, sizes, features? I'd be curious to hear from pros and consumers. Thanks!

Lots of planking 8x48 is common. White Carrera porcelain look alike is popular sizes vary, just did some 20"x40". Handmade tiles in Arabesque shape or similar has taken off recently. Glass continues to gain market share as well.

The trend seems to be the sizes will continue to grow.

Tremendous interest and market for the "Wood Look" tiles. Done several homes where it was put everywhere on the ground floor. "Wood" is sort of timeless....better still when it is bulletproof. Much depends on your area and climate. There are others, but this is one....:tup2:
