Hi Guys. I am a new poster and would like to thank you all for all the great advice you provide. I am installing a corner shower and was planning on trying the Schluter foam pan. My shower is 48 by 36 and I was wondering if you would cut 6 inches off 2 sides of the 48 by 48 kit even though it would leave those two side 1/8 lower. thanks

Welcome, John. :)

You could do that if you want. I would personally not use the foam at all, but would make a shower floor of deck mud so it would match the shower footprint and drain location precisely while not worrying about having a perfectly level subfloor. It would also provide a more solid floor while saving a substantial chunk of dinero.

My opinion; worth price charged.

Yep, I'd do what Cx said.

But, if you've already bought it and can't return it, the drain location coming out of your floor will determine how much needs to be cut off on each side.
