I will soon be installing laminate floor over 3/4 tg plywood with a 1/2 layer of plywood underlayment to be even with the other floors I've been going back and forth as what to use screws staples or nails I will admit 99 percent of my work is tile over concrete so I was curious what others prefer :yipee:

You talking about fastening the laminate flooring or fastening the underlayment plywood, Garret? If it for the underlayment, you can generally use either screws or nails of the correct variety. I know some underlayment materials are installed using staples, but that's generally up to the manufacturer of the floor covering.

My opinion; worth price charged.

See #2, then. I favor screws for anything in a subfloor construction.
