How to clean grout out of decorative tile border

Here is my problem. Contractor left grout in our decorative border. The border is from Lowes and this is the discription from Lowes:6"W x 3"L Bronze Crown Border Metal Tile
"Premium collection of decorative metal tiles. Ideal for enhancing any wall tile installation. Real metal decos "

How in the heck do we remove the grout? I have been using a toothbrush with water and it looks fine when wet but when it dries, this is how it looks:Name: securedownload-1.jpg

Obviously, he should have masked off the border before grouting.

Can I use vinegar to get grout out of the texture of our porcelain tile?

HELP! And Thanks!

Welcome, Brenda.

I would recommend you call the tile professional who installed the tile and simply point out the problem and arrange a convenient time for him to come back and clean the tiles adequately.

My opinion; worth price charged.

Hi Brenda, Welcome!

If the contractor doesn't respond, you can try some pointy plastic or wood and start detailing. I don't suggest anything acidic on the metal without TESTing first.
