Laticrete Drain
coulda seen this coming! I'd like to get my hands on one!
Would anyone out there from Laticrete care to chime in on when these might be available and what the price point may be?

Our rep gave us the full run down of the line along with the shower pans and pre Hydro Banned products. It's safe to say we'll be carrying these at launch.

The word is March but I don't think it's set in stone (pardon the pun). We were given the information on the line and will start taking preorders once we get a solid release date and our price list.

I'm At surfaces now and I'm tripping out on all the new Laticrete stuff. Lati line drain, they also have a wedi type of system you use with hydroban.

Obie- say hi to Art Mintie (Laticrete Tech Guy) for me. He should be there.
Glad to here the Latadrain has been released. Curious to see how it compares to the Kerdi Drain.
Can you adjust the grate location when setting tile like with the Kerdi Drain?
And wonder if you will still be able to get a Laticrete warranty for a Hydroban shower if you use a different companies drain?

Looked for him Isaac, he wasn't around. Did meet a new Hawaii rep named Kevin you'll probably meet soon.
I took some cool pics of the lati drain though I can't figure out how to post pics from my phone. It has the same functionality as the Schluter drain only the grate is 5".

I just commented on Levi's post about them. I spoke with another tile contractor at my local Dal yesterday. I had been expressing my concerns about the Quickdrain system and he told me he was just sent a Laticrete linear drain to try out. He was impressed with the design and functionality. Next linear I get I'm definitely pushing Laticrete on the customer and my plumber buddies.

The linear drain looks pretty cool. Only one finish offered (brushed steel) but "tile in" option should make the grate obselete imo. I like the fact that it is attached with a no hub. Makes life easy.....now if we could just get our local Daltile to carry laticrete.....hello.....dal....are you there? Get with it!

you knew they were coming. I heard about these a while ago, was asked to try them out but my December holiday vacation, 2 booked Kerdi showers and nothing but floors on my schedule stopped me. my Florida rep is back on my trail about them.

I would have liked to have seen some fleece on the bonding flange like Kerdi Drain.

The drain does move laterally.
I did some prototype work with Jay Conrad (membrane guy) @ Laticrete on this a while back.
Glad to hear it's finally ready.
