JB Forum on a droid

I spend more time on my droid that my computer is starting to collect more dust than my shop vac.

It would seem that a social network forum like this would have some type of droid app to interface with. Does anyone know of one?

I'm in the same boat Juan...I actually asked the same question about 9 months ago and everybody said they can navigate just fine on their phones. I have a problem with it because the thread lines are to small for me to click on.

Yea, the mobile version (which Bob provided the link for) is better suited to older models of smartphones with smaller displays.

I use the regular site from my DroidX, not ideal either but it works. I think in that older thread that Levi mentioned, there was some mention of "Tapatalk", an App (for iPhone or Android) that turns forums into a decent app-like experience. To use it though, changes would need to be made to the forum to enable Tapatalk functionality. This is something that Davem was looking into, not sure if he has had the time to fully test yet or not.

I'm on my iPhone right now and it works just like I was on a confuser. No problems. On another forum I vistit, I can't post from my phone or search nor login.

Well this is a post from the mobile version. It certainly seems more phone friendly than the browser version on my phone, although a bit quirky. I don't see any ads or icons. Cast in one more vote for a real Droid app.

You won't see any attached pictures on the mobile site either. If I am on my Blackberry I use the mobile site, if on my DroidX I just use the normal site.

Send a message via AIM to John Bridge
I'll get DaveM to comment. I know he's been pretty busy with his other job lately.

I just zoom in real big on my Droid X to advance the pages.

What phone do ya have Juan? There's a couple little tricks onna Droid X that make surfing the site a little easier.

I have a Motorola Droid X. The mobile version makes browsing easy cuz it all stays on one page. But no pics. The regular version is just a pain to browse on - scrolling and zooming is a pain. The search feature does not work well either.
