I noticed yesterday when I opened TYW, my phone tried to sell me Tapatalk.

What does it do Dave? Is it worth three bucks?

Yeah, it is a bit of a pain, but I'm so used to it I hardly notice.

I assume you use the double tap to zoom. You can also use the pinch to zoom and make it as large as you like, then if you double tap it'll line up the text in a neat column for easy scrolling and reading.

I have the free Tapatalk app on my DroidX, works great for browsing the forum. Got to buy the app if you want to reply. $2.95. Not a bad price for the convenience the app brings to forum reading.

Shows forums in a layout better suited for small screens. Try the free version to get a feel for it.

Yea, I bought the app. Now you have to keep Tapatalk for the forum Dave!

It is really easy to snap a pic with the phone and upload to the forum. When you do you get an option to upload a smaller size so you can take a high quality pic on the phone for normal use but the upload will be resized before sending to the forum. Once you upload, the option for inserting the pic "inline" is right there.

Thanks Joe, the ability to upload pics alone is worth three bucks. My Droid X won't let me upload pics to the forum.

You actually paid money for an HP product?

Yea, image handling through Tapatalk is very good. Now we can outdo Brian with uploading food pics.

Greg - hey, don't knock the HP. The Envy is actually a great laptop. Very good build quality.

Thanks for the tips Greg. The double tap was a new trick, but the text was a little too small to read and I'm not ready for reading glasses hanging off my nose. I might try tap a talk.

Juan, with your browser open, hit your menu button, click on "more", scroll down to settings, click on text size and set it on large or huge.

Now, when you open a page, double tap to zoom in, then take your thumb and forefinger and place them on the screen and spread them apart until you're zoomed in where you want to be, THEN double tap and it will line up in a neat, easy to scroll through column.
