You might be surprised how affordable a custom built base cabinet would be from your local cabinet maker. Then you could have q custom sized cabinet to fit your space. You could save some money by ordering unfinished doors online, and mounting them yourself. Lots of good vendors on the internet that sell very fancy or simple doors.

If you think about a base cabinet is just a box with a hardwood face frame on it. Really only two or three hours of fab work for a cabinet shop.

we had good luck with this place. my wife found this place that had the color she was looking for. they had 40% off the style we wanted so we savedover 1400.00 of their regular price which was less then half of what lowes wanted. their cabinets have no particle board or mdf, all veneered plywood and solid wood.

This site sells Conestoga Cabinetry at a good price. They come unassembled and you have to put them together. I order these through a local Cabinetmaker and he does all the assembly and delivers to my jobs. These are the best stock cabinets that I have worked with, 15 years in the kitchen/ bath industry.... full ply boxes, solid wood shelves and drawer boxes w/ dovetails and the toekicks are solid wood as well!!! Givem a try, you won't be disappointed
