removing ceramic tile from plywood subfloor

I am having the hardest time removing ceramic tile from a plywood subfloor, there is a mesh between the subfloor and the concrete looking mortor. I spent about 45 minutes with a hammer and 2" wide prybar and have only got up 2 tiles. Is there an easier way?

Get help. Your floor was meant to stay down, and now it's fighting you. Your new floor should be so good.!

Seriously, an electric demo hammer will help, so will a longer wrecking bar. But it still will be hard work, so bribe a few friends with promises of beer and steaks and have a demo party.

Yep some floors are super hard to remove. Most rental stores have demo hammers made for this, but by the sounds of it, it still will not be easy. Also be careful if you get demo hammer not to go thru the subfloor.
