Tile Doctor Grout Additive
http://www.thetiledoctor.com/products/Grout-Admix
Never heard of this stuff, but my client ran across it and wants me to check on it. Always a skeptic of such products, am I. Especially from a manufacturer I'm not familiar with.
Trying to talk them into Spectralock if that's the type of thing they really want...

looks to be comparative to Grout Boost, and I can't stand that stuff. Never actually heard of this exact product though.

What grout do you intend to use, Brad?
Might wanna show your customer where it says on the grout mixing instructions to use water and not to use any additives.
The good Tile Doctor will give you another bottle of his additive if you have any kind of failure, but that's not likely to be quite what you really want at that point, eh?
Don't have any idea what it might do or not do, but I think if the customer wants a stainless grout you should offer one of the epoxies or urethanes in lieu of the cementitious grout with unknown additive.

Maloney tile and marble are listed on their website. Also- no contact info for the company of any kind listed on their website, email or physical address.
It smells funny- possibly the source of Bill Vincent's rouge email spammers?
TCNA and NTCA logo's can be downloaded anywhere.....
Or maybe they're legit, ???
Get 1776 from Laticrete.

I used it last week on the Subway tile job I did.
customer bought it after reading about it. cheaper then GroutBoost and is a mix in sealer.
1776 is good but not marketed as a sealer.
it's sold at a lot of tile stores here and Florida, Floor & Decor nationwide
and other places if you look.
to me it was pretty much the same feel as GroutBoost

Well, happy ending here. Talked him into spectralock. First time using it in a "real" application. Wasn't nearly as bad as the old school epoxy that left a bad taste in my mouth years ago. That said, wasn't fun either, but I can say I've done it now.
I'll try to post a pic later.

I know I am a little late on this thread but thought I would chime in on The TileDoctor additive for grout. I own a tile store and have been selling this product for about 7 months with great success to retail ans contractors in our market. As a replacement to grout sealer/sealing grout it is really a great option. It is not a spectralock/opticolor replacement and should not be thought of it in that way. For someone who does not want to spend the extra money on an epoxy option we recommend to every customer.

Martin-
What kind of feedback have you gotten as far as ease of working/work time? My biggest concern with it is that neither I, nor the guys here knew anything about it. Was more comfortable going with a known commodity....

Brad, Its not water so it wont dry or evaporate the same.
I think it or Grout Boost, 1776 additive makes the grout spread better and clean up easier.
you just need to wait a bit longer depending on the days, room temp for it to set up.
