Shower basalt tile

Hello everyone!
I was hoping to get some advice for installing basalt tile in my shower.
I will be installing 3/8" honed Basalt mosaic on the shower floor, and "random strip Milano" Basalt tile (honed) on the shower walls.
My questions are:
what is the best sealant to use for Basalt in a shower?
should the tiles be sealed before being installed and after grouting?
what is the best grout to use for these tiles in the shower?
do the mosaic tiles need to be grouted as well?

Jack welcome,

1. I personally like Miracle products for sealing. Aqua Mix comes in at second. Stay away from the cheap ones though.
2. How big are they? If you seal them before you install them it will be easier to keep the sealer off of the edges of the tile. If you get too much on the edges the grout won't stick as well.
3. I would go with a quality portland based grout for these tiles, as an epoxy may stain the tiles.
4. Yes - everything needs to be grouted.
