Spectralock with wave shaped glass tile

Anybody set or try to epoxy grout these tiles? My main concern is epoxy grouting the wave shaped ones. They are an accent row for a shower I am estimating. On each wall of the shower (normal 3' x 5") there is a vertical strip going from floor to ceiling. The side walls is about 1' wide the back wall is almost 3' wide by 8' tall. The flat glass tile is an accent border on the shower floor.

The other tile is a shell tile from Bedrosians. It may be used on an accent wall outside the shower. The grout spec is for Spectralock but the spec for the tile from Bedrosians says use only use an unsanded grout because the shells scratch easily. But spectralock has never scratched any glass I have down before.

Is that frosted glass? I have a hard time preventing sponge marks on frosted glass when using epoxy grouts.......

I agree with no grout for that style. Like Paul, I haven't ever seen it grouted and don't know how you could.

Whoever is writing the spec to use these in a shower and grout w/ spectralock needs to show up and give a demo on how to do it.

The shell tile is not for the shower. Accent wall in the bathroom outside the shower. I'll tell them no grout on that.

I trying to figure how to actually get the epoxy into the joints of the wave tile. Don't think a float would work too well.

Have the distributor and the tile manufacturer do an actual demo in front of you on the grout process. Make sure to do the time study! Please video it for us.

Like a bathroom design done by a homeowner who is an engineer. Looks good on paper but the execution.....

Love the glass, but seems impossible to grout and not have the grout lines vary in thickness all over the place, ruining the clean lines of the wave.

Don't see how you can grout short of fingertips into every nook and cranny and trying to figure out how to get a clean wipe in all the same spots.

It's an interior designer job. Well for a GC but designer choose tile. If I get it I will give progress reports/photos.. Don't know about filming it. Not like I have my own YouTube channel.
