deadliset catch has lost a true CAPTAIN

that's sad. they all seemed pretty cool on the show.
the weird thing is even though he had one of the deadliest jobs in the world it was the cigarettes that did him in.
I think in a previous show they followed him to the doctor about it.

Yep. You can't smoke like that and expect to live long. For the most part. Some old timers defy the odds. R.I.P Phil

well if any of you guys actually read how died it was not from smoking...he had a horrible stroke on the 27 th or 28th of jan....while docking and unloading.....they took him to er right away......so the stroke is what did him in........anyone that does that job has more balls and glory than me .....and i dont get scared much

Dan:

Studies show that cigarette smoking is an important risk factor for stroke

I dont think he had a stroke from lifting crabs, I'm sure there was a lot of
things that led to it, one would be smoking too much.

yeah but the stroke on the loading dock is what did it....and brain the pull the load off with a crane they dont touch it.......i think that florida snow has clogged your brain

so if he used a crane then smoking made him have a stoke.

still a sad loss.
