homelux

Was wanderin through our local menards and came across a product called homelux. It's a waterproofing membrane. They have inside and outside corners, with joint tape. The product looks alot like the kerdi design, but the meterial is differant. Went to their web site: http://www.homelux.co.uk/ Looks like their from acroos the pond. Anyone ever used or here of this product before. Would be nice to have a product like kerdi locally. The only one that stocks any schulter stuff is homer, and then only a limited supply of detri and some tile transitions. Thanks.

I can't purchase Schluter products locally either, Tim. Is why I buy everything I need from our friends at Tile Experts.com.

Very fast shipping, shows up at my doorstep or jobsite, no sales tax, very reasonable shipping costs. Ain't no way I can drive 40 miles to town for the price. And if you don't see something on his site you think you want, just axe him do he have it. If it's made by Schluter, the answer will be yes.

My opinion; worth price charged.

Tim,

you have a far better chance at finding Schluter Kerdi then you
would some wannabee mat from the UK.

http://www.schluter.com/dealer_locator.aspx

if none show up you can call Schluter and ask for a few names of tile
stores in your area that might sell it.
