I like mine with ketchup also...same as my cheese Steak.
cx,
we folks up North Philly/South Jersey area here call it a steak for short.
when your friends at 11:30 p.m after leaving a bar say "hey, youz guys wanna go grab a steak ?"
doesn't mean you want to go grab a sirloin.

I like me some good scrapple myself, just not very often.
Rays was our local cheesesteak house. Ray's in Lansdale was Geno's cousin. I grew up on cheesesteak for dinner once a week. Haven't had a good one in about 15 years now.

next time i'm in the area i'm going to go to tony lukes and try the roast pork with provalone and radichio. anyone ever have one of those? although they may not put peppers on the cheesesteak I recall grabing a bunch of hot cherry peppers from a big jug outside of pat's last time i was there.
ps. trenton porkroll owns for a breakfast meat.

best to ask what ISN'T in scrapple.
ate at Nick's Roast beef in Old City Philly a lot when working in the city.
so many places we used to stop at for breakfast, lunch or a pick up on the way home the list is endless.
all the little family deli's make such good stuff.

Scrapple is the scraps from a butchered pig bound into loaf with corn meal. Slice .25", fry until crispy on outsides and you have breakfast perfection.
