Jeff, forget about visions of sugar plumbs, Brian has a chorus line of cheesesteaks dancing the can-can in his dreams, and in the morning all the jars of sauces are under the hoagie tree. Or sumthin'...

Or, you could talk about the VERY BEST cheesesteak in Philly, found only at Chinks.

I went to some Philly Cheesesteak place in Philly in 1978. It's the one that was in Rocky....true story.

I've never been to Philly to have a true Philly Steak. I do love them though. Never saw the one with the Cheez Whiz until yeaterday on the T.V.

You need Amarosa Rolls to make a real Philly steak

Actually, Amoroso are ok but the best cheesesteak joints use a better roll. Its the rolls that seperate Philly cheesesteaks from anyone elses. Can't get them anywhere else.

most of the italian bakeries make the same type of roll for area cheese steak & sub places.

a couple good ones in South Jersey that are good are Liscio's & Adversa's.

I like the cheese wiz or provolone. and you have to have the hot sauce.

I think the place Rocky ate at was Pat's since both Pat's & Geno's are one block from the Italian mart block with all the produce and stuff. and he was on that street in the movies.
