Looking For A Discontinued Florida Tile

I need to find a Florida Tile, Natura 9283, Lis. Rose 8x8. I've contacted the company but since it was discontinued quite some time ago no stock is left. Are there sites that I can check that may have this?

No idea whether this works in the US but it did once in Europe: Ask an insurance adjuster or someone at their office. In the case in Europe there was water damage and the plumber had to knock some tiles to get to the leak. As usual there were no spares (why are there never?) and the tiles were unobtanium. A small company there took a sample and custom made some new tiles that looked deceptively similar to the old ones. Very expensive but a lot cheaper than doing the whole room again.

Regards, Joerg.

try contacting Florida Tile and ask for Wendy.
She has a list from various distributors across the country.

there is also a Florida Tile rep the frequents this forum,
hopefully he will stop in and see this.

Yep, calling Wendy Frye at Florida Tile (800-843-3516) should be your first stop.
If she doesn't show anyone having this on her list, try Orlandini Tile in NJ at 856-697-2421. (They have not had a chance to get a list to Wendy, so she doesn't know what they have.)

The closest thing I have left is #9183 P4489 which is a 4x8 bullnose in the same color, but is a bright glaze (Marble I was bright glaze, Marble II was matte finish.)

Good luck!

Hey Rachel,

I just seen Bobby Orlandini at Coverings a few weeks ago. haven't seen him in 10 years since I moved to FL. and there he is walking around Coverings.....lol.

the Orlandini's are a great bunch of people.

I'm sure they have a few boxes out back of their warehouse in Richland, NJ or the warehouse in Penn.

LOl Hi Brian!
Small world, isn't it? Bobby & Carolyn are a great help when it comes to discontinued tile. If I don't have it, I go to him, and occasionally, he has to come to me!
