It's Chicago, Steve. There's bars all over the place.

Got a note from Andy Lundberg (Felker/Husqvarna) from Surfaces in Vegas. He says it was very slow. He heard they only had about half as many as last year. Guess it's a sign of the times.
I do hope a lot of people try hard to make it to Coverings. Looking forward to seeing you.

I am registered Steve, but if I can't find a decent deal onna hotel, I may not be able to go. Ain't no way I'm paying $250 a night, plus parking.
Are you planning on attending all four days?

Greg,
The Best Western Grant Park has double-queen rooms listing at $125 per night on Expedia.com. The Hotel Blake has the same listed for $141. Find someone to split the room with and you can't beat the location or the price.
Best of luck,
Shaughnn

Greg, you're going to have your car you can camp out on the fringe for a lot less. Hope to see you there.

John Bridge/Tile Your World Couch
It's official, the John Bridge/Tile Your World Couch will be installed in the Husqvarna/Felker booth #4333. We will have some sort of in-box there where people can leave their card or a note. I will also make sure there is a supply of my cards there with my cell number on them. You'll be able to stop by, take a load off your feet and check out all the neat tile saws and other gadgets that Felker puts out.
I want to thank my friend Andy Lundberg, Product Manager for Husqvarna Construction Products, for housing the couch in the booth. You folks who haven't met Andy are in for a treat. He's a great guy. A word of caution, though . . . Keep him on the subject of tools. Don't let him wander off on a tangent. He'll talk your ears off if you let him.
Once again, that's Booth #4333 for the World Famous Tile Your World Couch. Andy has promised to have dancing girls and flashing lights to show the way. Or was that flashing girls and dancing lights?

I think it was just flashing and dancing lights.....
The JBF/TYW Couch is an institution at Coverings and it will be great to be part of Booth #4351! Many thanks to Andy and his team of great folks for doing this. For everyone attending, this will be a central place for meeting and chatting.

Thanks Shaughnn, my wife will be attending with me, so I don't know if splitting a room is an option.

THANK YOU ANDY!
I might have to repaint my "yellow" saw! ( as a small token of my appreciation)
