Question Calculate how much tile needed for backsplash?

How do I calculate how much material I need for a backsplash?
I did the sq. ft. measurement and it came to 28.1 sq. ft.
Now do I add x % for matching, cutting, wasting, or whatever?
TIA

Hi Suzie,

I figure in another 10% ....15% for diagonal layout.
