Walk In Shower Size Advice Needed!!

For a master bath I am going to redo the existing shower which shares a side with 1 wall and 1 small 1' wall- I want a walk in shower but I am short on space- I did see where the minimum size would be 51 x 70- anyone have any advise and or any drawings and or smaller sizes possibly to help in this quest? I would like to not have a shower door but remember I need to keep it tight-

Welcome, Electros. Please give us a first name to use.

Don't know where you woulda seen 51x70 inches billed as a minimum size for a walk-in shower. That's actually a rather roomy shower by most residential standards.

How much room you got? Plenty showers out there in the 36x36 range. Not gonna be doorless at that size unless you can tolerate a lotta water on the floor outside.

My opinion; worth price charged.

I agree with Cx..We've done some curbless showers as small as 3x5' But the whole room sloped to the shower and was waterproofed as well. I was actually surprised at how little splash there is using a rain head type(low pressure more volume) shower head in the ceiling.

The only time a shower has a minimum size is if is to be ADA compliant, 60" X 60" minimum.

No curb, walk-in shower.
