Unhappy Corner shower shampoo shelves

I am trying to install two corner shelves. Not a 90 degree angle and having trouble getting the shelves to fit and stay put. What is the trick to getting this done?
Thanks.

How far off (larger or smaller) than 90 degrees is it?

What kind of shelves are they?

Take a look Here. If the info you need
isnt in this thread come back with any specific questions. Davestone
has done a great job of explaining how to make your own corner shelves.
If you apply what he describes premade shelves can be installed in
the same manner. good luck.

Corner Ceramic Shower Shelves

The wall is more than 90 degrees, so one side of the shelf is flush to the wall, the point of the angle lines up with the wall, but the other side of shelf is about five degree off. Hope that makes sense. I am very new at this.

If it's those marble or some type of stone ones, they can be made to any size cut you need, Just make a template of the corner it has to fit in, then go and pick out a 12x12 marble or granite tile to match the ones used or use one of them, a fabricator can cut and bullnose the edge for ya.

Sounds like your wall is out of square and you need to trim the shelf.
If its a resin or stone shelf this angle can be found by holding the shelf against
the corner it goes in and while holding a pencil against the wall you can
trace the angle of the wall to be shaved off of the shelf. Take a little
bit at a time off until it fits. When trimming like this it is better to take
off less than more.

Ceramic Shampoo Shelves

Unfortunately, the wall is out of square. The shelf is too small for the 95 degree wall. Can you put shims in to fill up the space or build up the wall to close up the gap between the wall and the corner shelf? Don't want to redo the wall if I don't have to. The shelf is one of the preformed ones from HD, not a single tile.

well if you cant cut the shelf, you could take a screwdriver and hammer, and knock out a little of the backing board on the inside edge. not the right thing to do though.
