pinesol safe for grout sealer??

did a few searches and couldnt find an answer. just wondering if pinesol is safe for grout sealer or does it break it down??

I advise the use of products that are specifically made for grout sealing.

Yeah, it's hard for us to guarantee it won't harm it,you'd have to get that from the manuf. and even then who knows.Why not buy tile and stone specific cleaners, they are pretty readily available.

Don't use Pine Sol. Or Lestoil. Or Murphy's Oil Soap.

Reason for all 3 is the same. They all have oil as an ingredient for cleaning. Grout absorbs oil and it stays inside the grout.

Pine Sol does not have much pine oil. But why have any?

There are lots of good neutral cleaners that will not stain the grout at all.

Why, you might even, if you're lucky, be able to buy some of them from this very website!

Run away fast from that stuff!

Just go buy a tile and grout cleaner from home depot and you will be fine!
