All I want to know is how you get the accent marks over the vowels.

time to put this thread back on track - here is a photo from my daughter's wedding in SoCal

That's me (with my new hubby) to the left - the bride & 2 girls in front are my 3 daughters (my son is not in pic) - rest are the groom & (part of) his family.

Thanks, all!

Yes, John, that'd be my new SIL, trying desperately to stand up/look alive/survive, even (His friends brought him back in a shopping cart the evening before. "Poor" SOB "discovered" the difference between drinking beer and drinking lots of shots along with/instead of them beers...) As he is a career guy, now married into a family with lots of navy guys/gals (incl my next SIL as of Nov), you can be sure he has heard and will hear many of those comments...

We had a great time, and I've gotta say, a military crowd is usually a fun group.

RJ,

Dunno, but my first guess would be it has something to do with the fact none of them had ever been out of Alabama - ever- before that morning....kinda had that "deer (or is it moose?) in the headlights" look most of the day.

Laurie,

Moose, in AL, is something you put in your hair

Hell, if they ever saw a full bull moose in AL, they'd call the national guard!!!! SSSCCCCAaarreeeyyyyyy

On the other hand there
