A class act

This is crazy. This cost him 3 mil. What a gift, this guy loves his fans. Wish they were all like that.http://www.usatoday.com/travel/fligh...s_x.htm?csp=34

Up here our team is owned by Howard Shultz the Starbucks guy.
Told the city that if they don't get something like $200,000,000 in arena upgrades they will move. Oh, team will pay $18,000,000 of the total. Taxpayers figure out the rest. I'm getting real sick and tired of financing these stadiums for these rich guys.

Vikings threatened same thing 2 years ago Jerry
No new stadium for them was the verdict.
We just built the HHH metrodome 20 years ago ( at 18 years old they want new??? )
MN Twins wanted new outdoor stadium ( hmmm they couldnt wait to get indoors 20 years ago)
Twins got no stadium either.
Northstars went to dallas because we wouldnt knuckle in to thier demands.
Now we got the Wild!!!
Lakers left MN for LA decades ago ( now we have Timberwolves)

Taxpayers shouldnt have to pay for rich business's buildings.

If 3M see's the Vikings get a payed for stadium. whats to keep them from saying Hey, build us a new building or we will move our 60,000 jobs to the highest bidding city!!!

Business is Business..................they want a free ride tell em "no problem, here, sit and spin"

Jags

In Jacksonville, the Jags threatened to leave if they didn't get some improvements. The problem here being that in the begining the city said "Please, please, please. We want a football team sooooooo bad. We'll die if we don't get one. Please, please, please. We'll do anything." Jags said - these are our terms. City proceeded to build a stadium in the ghetto, and hasn't nearly met the demands of the team. They shouldn't have agreed to it in the first place! No one attends games. Those of us who live in the area can't even watch them on TV! Great idea, we really needed an NFL team!
