Dana, I see they have toy cars there too.

Today Wiley and I made the hour trek to Salinas to buy real groceries. It is kind of the little Miami of Ecuador and pretty packed in a small area. Got some pics of us on the Salinas Malecon, some sand art (check out the people in the pics to get a size perspective) and pic of the main "street" in Montanita, walking distance from where we are staying. With only two weeks left of Summer here, the Ecuadorians are packing the beaches before school starts in April.

Our driver Jorge has been a gem. Does not speak English and he is really testing our Spanish. Got a little embarrassing for him today when he was trying to remind us we needed to take our own TP into public banos. Not common to supply it here.

I love places like that. Takes me back to younger days cruising the backstreets of Europe and Asia. Never been to South America. Always wanted to go.

Looks like fun Marge. I'll have to put it on the list.

Here's some more of my work trip on Oahu. I know, I know, but someone's gotta do it.

Hi Guys

Here's a few night shots from a residence I was working on the other night in Chicago. Unfortunately, the photos aren't as clear as reality. In person, I was able to see clearly across the lake to Indiana and Michigan.

View to the South. City and Lake Michigan shoreline.

View to the Southwest. Trump Tower on far left with blue antenna, Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) immediately to the right with twin antennas. Far right is Chicago and surrounding burbs.

We keep hearing thump, scratch, scratch on the roof and know another iguana has decided to sunbathe. This one was about two feet from my head when he jumped.

The next pic is of Alfredo, a contractor here. He is preparing rebar for the addition of a second story deck on the owner's home. They found a bending tool somewhere and he was thrilled. He and his crew used to have to bend rebar without one.

Last pic will make you all sick. Not liters.....GALLONS! These are the prices countrywide at every single station.
