Help!! Too Much Sealer

I Have Sealed My Marble Floor With 2 Coats Of Sealer
It Is Very Sticky All Over And There Are Blotches

What kind of sealer did you use? If it's an impregnator sealer... you must wipe/buff the excess off the surface before it dries. The remedy for this is normally apply more sealer and buff off (impregnators normally re emulsify themselves) If it's a topical coating, you probably put it on too thick and it may need more time to dry or need to be stripped off.

Hey Unreg!

Don't feel too bad - putting too much on, or maybe I should say letting it dry on the surface, is the most common mistake with these products. It's very easy to do, especially if you're thinking 'paint' or 'wax'.

It's fixable and you did not ruin the tile. But stripping it off is not heaps o' fun.

Forgot one thing.

You said it's marble. In your stripping/cleaning efforts, don't use acidic based strippers, like 'grout haze removers', vinegar, etc. They eat away at the marble, which will dull it.
