Does anybody know that you can do what you say,for references, people are wary of young pro's.Find the biggest tile company there and try them i'll bet they'll find something small to try you out on,cause they always have work the regular guys don't want, and tell em you want long term employment. And maybe things are slow, we just got through a slow spell after the tourists left.

I looked you up, i was in that area recently,my in-laws live in ocala, and i couldn't find work either, and i heard from other setters there was no money there,my brother-in-law was a building inspector for sumter co. so i know it's true, you need to get towards the coastal cities or The Villages near Wildwood, that's the only real work there. And forget what i said about big tile co.s there aren't any there.

Would you be interested in moving to New England?

Duie,
It's a bit tedious but you can simply stop by the flooring and cabinet showrooms in your area and let them know that you are available and have your own tools. Going straight to the source may be the best way to get your foot in the door.
How close to Apopka are you? I've got a cousin there who sets up roofing contracts. I can ask him if he knows any tile guys looking for help.
Send me your phone number and I can try to move it along to him for you.

Duie,
He runs Home Despot's roofing division, if I understand him correctly. I think he covers the whole Northern state but I could be mistaken. If he knows of something, I'll pass your number along to him.
