Coverings 2018

It's time to start thinking about Coverings 2018 - Atlanta, Ga.
Who is going and where are ya stayin?
I just signed up for the show and it seems as though the hotels list is getting smaller on the Coverings web site.
This one should be Kool..

I gotta admit I enjoy Orlando more..... but this gives others an opportunity to visit where the location is more convenient to them.
THEN, airfare is cheaper to Orlando.. OK, I still like Orlando better.. agreed..

I also enjoy Orlando the most.

Have they announced next year’s location? Looking back a few years, seems like Vegas is next in line. But.......

I like Orlando, too. When I first started attending the show was in Orlando every year. Got to know the place pretty well. The first year they moved it was to Chicago. Felt like I'd lost my home.

The show is worth attending, though, no matter where it's held. For me it's seeing old friends and making new ones each year. And there is no place like it when it comes to continuing education.

I'll be there this year. I forget where I'm staying.

I think it's Atlanta, Orlando, New Orleans, Orlando then ?

Wish they would just keep it in Orlando and a little earlier. Makes a nice excuse to get away from the cold!!

I think if the show was completely a US production it would have a more or less permanent home in Orlando. Because it's an international show with Italy and Spain, Chicago remains in the mix. With that said, there are only a few venues that can hold the entire Coverings show. I think New Orleans will be a fun one in a couple of years and there is talk about potentially a West coast venue like LA or Las Vegas. Whenever I'm in discussions where they are talking about where to have it, I advocate for keeping it in Orlando. It has more of a family feel and there is a lot to do there.

As for the original question, I'll be there of course, stop by and see us at booth 7819 and make your plans to attend our educational sessions on exterior installations Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 and Gauged Porcelain Panels Thursday afternoon at 1:30.

Speaking of booth numbers, the John Bridge Forums furniture (opposing settees, coffee/coctail table) will be in Bill Russo's booth once again. The RTC booth is #7411. Frank (Mud Maker) will be there. That should bring out the gang.
