Sealing Tile And Grout

How do you guys seal ALL tile and grout. Not just the grout. This is ceramic tile, not glazed ceramic tile.

How do you apply it?

Hi Dog, Welcome!

Feel free to sign up and register. It's good to know you can still do something for free with no hitches!

If you aren't familiar with the boards here, we usually try to pry a first name out of you!

In answer to your question, depends on the sealer, type and quantity of tile. For large areas of porous tile, I like to use a pump sprayer. I've also used lambs wool applicators, rollers, and paint brushes. With the newer water based sealers, string mops and sponges can be used.

What do you have in mind? Have you selected a sealer yet?

Keep in mind that most sealers require you to wipe up any liquid after a few minutes of "soaking in time", but before it dries on the surface.

Know you know why I'm not in the labeling business, either too much info, or not enough. Thanks for the save Dave!
