Unhappy Fire Damage

A bathroom and shower room that I had installed last year was involved in a fire. The flames itself did not touch either room but there was plenty of smoke and soot damage and small amount of water damage. All the grout lines on the floor look discolored. My question is: Are there products out there that will clean this mess and restore the tile and grout to look like the originally did or rip it out and start over??

Do you know if the tile and grout were ever sealed? This would make it alot easier.

Fire and smoke restoration companies ( The Steam Team for example) have done wonders on some of the "dirty grout" jobs I've seen

Hi JW,

You will be able to restore the grout, and the tile should be fine. If the grout doesn't come completely clean to your liking you may have to stain it.

I'll move us over to the place where all the restorers hang out.
