Drywall & finished floor: height?

Hello.

With confidence provided by lurking here for months I'm in the middle of a bathroom remodel. I'm wondering about where the bottom edge of the drywall should be with respect to the finished floor. If I make no changes, the bottom edge will be about a half-inch above the subfloor, but will end up being below the finished tile floor. Should the drywall be cut to be above the finished floor? Or?

Thanx.

George

No need to do that, George. Just leave a 1/4-inch gap between tile and wall. You can either leave that joint open to be covered by your baseboard, or you can caulk it. No grout.

My opinion; worth price charged.

Yep, yep, yep, send the check to Mike. For the full amount charged. He deserves it.
