Argh...

Bodie posted someone overcoming great fear to survive. There are a hundred things we could talk about without dragging this down to political talk.

How's about we keep this open?

Yeah....but if they're up against a Bad Guy with a gun, what are you gonna do....fight them off with a nail file? Never bring a knife to a gunfight....

Myth Busters thinks differently. They proved that bringing a knife to a gunfight is very respectable and can win if they’re within 18’ of each other.

If your gun is holstered, and I'm within 30' feet of you, I can stab you before you can get a round off.

Unless, of course, it's a particular FBI (I think) agent who, if I recall correctly, can draw from a shoulder holster under his suit coat while facing away from the target and hit said target in one-fifth of a second. Don't wanna be in no gunfights with that fella no matter what I'm carrying.

Craig buddy... Who doesn't carry one in the pipe???? Truth is that the average person can draw and fire in less than 2 seconds and the average person can cover 21 feet in less than 2 seconds. This is why you are taught to backpedal to create distance to give you more time. Unless you train, you are going to get stabbed. In training on average 8 out of 10 officers will get stabbed before being thought this. Here are some other ways These 2 guys are no joke. I have been watching them for years.
