Chevrolet spec'd Crossville 16's???

Doing a bid for a GM/Chevrolet dealership in which they spec out Crossville Cross-Colors 16x16's. The size must be made exclusively for GM because nowhere can I find these tiles offered in anything bigger than a 12x12. Anyone have any insight to this? Or a hookup to get the tile? Would hate to lose this job just cuz I can't get the tile.

Call Crossville and the Architect on Monday. Did you try to talk with your local store that carries Crossville?

your Crossville rep can look in the national spec book and see
if Chevrolet has one for using a certain tile.

No the architect is right. Downloaded the spec pdf from GM and its listed the exact same way. Local supplier is leary cuz we'll be bidding against his supplier and they like to jack up the prices when they know we're bidding against each other. Total BS! Was hoping to find another avenue to acquire the tile. Looks like I'll be calling the Crossville rep on Monday

Crossville distributors are pretty territorial. you will probably have to buy it at the local one.
unless you buy it from your local place and take it to the project

Chad,

You must be talking about Syversons. They are not a Crossville Distributor. Even though they distribute many lines, they buy crossville from Katelo. Get in touch with me and Ill help you get a fair price on the tile. Because of politics I bootleg crossville from a different market.

I have called Crossville and they will give you options for distributers, or you can order it from them direct, but they aren't any cheaper that way for me at least

ME TOO! I cant stand the Crossville dealer for my area. Pretty funny what another dealer will do to get into a competitors area! I call it "going through the back door".

Talk to your Dealer (GM/chevy) he will have the national accnt # for you to call. It is in the back appendx of the dealers building fit out spec book. I may have a copy in my files if you cannot get it from him. Dal makes an 18x18 that also meets the national spec. also make sure you get both the Matte and gloss stock # in the proper sf.

We just finished a Chevy Dealer in Lawrenceburg, Indiana a couple of months ago. All 12 x 12 polished and unpolished of the same grey.

Neil, how'd you get away with the 12's. Only alternates I see are Daltile 18's and Graniti Fiandra 16's. These are listed on GM's national specs but for some reason only Crossville was listed on mine.

Craig, according to the drawings it looks as though it's a 50/50 blend throughout the showroom then matte throughout the rest of the rooms. Sound about right to you?
