Tile Bathroom Remodeling: From Tear-out to Trim-out

The first and most comprehensive book (ebook) featuring Schluter's Kerdi-board.

Part 1 is now available for sale in the Tile Your World Store

3-27-2012

Part 2 is compete and has just been added to the store. Also, we've added a Part 1 and Part 2 combo deal at substantial savings.

I firmly believe that Tile Bathroom Remodeling: From Tear-out to Trim-out is the most complete bathroom remodeling book to hit the market in a long time. For one thing, there are nearly a thousand photo images in the combined set. You can click on them and view larger web-based versions when you need a close-up.

No book can possibly cover everything, but this one comes pretty close. Find Part 2 in the Tile Your World Store

Find the two-part combo HERE

Well, for me, a zero-experience-future-bath-renovator, I found this e-book to be excellent. Even though I won't be using the Kerdi Board in my remodel, having the tear-out and replumb sections will be invaluable. I eagerly await Part 2!

Welcome aboard, Kenny. Sometimes having no experience is a good thing.

Excellent. I was just going to post about my plans to fully renovate my bathroom this winter. Hopefully this will save all of you a lot of hassle and stupid questions.

Hi David,

We don't mind questions. The book covers a lot, but there are always questions.

Is Part II due out any time soon? I'm going to need it.

Also, is this book sufficient for re-doing a shower? Or should I also get the shower book?

Sorry this reply is so late. I've overlooked it.

I'm working on Part Two as I type. It should be out by summer.

The shower depicted in the book is irregular with lots of curves/ellipses, not many straight walls. If you only want to do a rectangular shower you might be better off buying the Kerdi Shower Book and using Kerdi. Tile Bathroom Remodeling covers everything from gutting out the room to hanging the towels. I think it's a great book for anyone working in a bathroom, but the other book will do for only a simple shower.

Hello John

John, I just wanted to say hello, and I'm glad to see your web site is still around. I have certainly bragged about it in the past. Hope all is well, if you remember me (Tito) I finished a shower project ( with the help of this forum over 8 years ago ). Wow how time flys. My master bath still looks great and everybody loves my shower. It was nice reminiscing. Take care and God bless.

I guess it's pretty popular.

I'm getting the error "Banwidth Limit Exceeded" (for the entire store)

Content question about John's book.

Hi all, Maybe someone knows the answer to My question.

Does John's Book "Tile Bathroom remodeling Part 1" discuss in detail anything about mud shower pans and roll in showers?

I have the kerdi shower book that was helpful but I need more details the above questions before I purchase the e-book.

If someone can point me in the right direction it would help a lot

Wally
