Wanted: Tile Spikes

Sad that, but it was bound to happen. They have to have a wedge that either disintegrates after a several uses, or they gotta find new markets for the product line to survive. Since they wanted a quality product, then they did not make them of questionable lifespan, the price had to go way down so the do-it-yourself-er would buy them on a whim as apposed to the plain old spacers. Since the price did not drop below the profit margin for the Chinese market to steal it...out came the clones to take their new market and killed them off.

That's why I have been saying for years, tax the hell out of any import, and any (2x the manufacturing price of the comparable local made product is good). This will kill the foreign sweatshop competition and make it lucrative for the next industrial revolution which we really need to survive long term. Some say, but that kills all the competition and thus raises prices, but I don't think so, we can have more than one company make the stuff in a country. If they want open a factory and hire local workers like Toyota and Honda does in the US so be it, the common man is who needs the boost in this failing economy.

Take a look at them little red wedgies in the link BSD posted back in post numba seven, Jason.

They're smaller a bit than real Tilespikes, but if I had no blueies, them's what I'd buy.

And no, you can't have my blueies. Well, unless you'd promise to keep'em clean and send'em back right soon.
