This Pandora station is nice when you're working. Strings and orchestra type stuff. Some interesting covers of other artists and songs you'll know, plus original stuff of course. I love rock songs covered by string instruments.

I don't usually dig orchestra music, but that sounds pretty cool Dave. Thanks.

I don't listen to music much at work though, mostly audio books.

You mean Song of Ice and Fire audiobooks. One of the best audiobook series I've ever listened to. Roy Dotrice is an awesome reader. He was originally going to play Grand Maester Pycell in the HBO series, but was unable due to health issues.

I'm currently listening to Rattlesnake Crossing. Book 6 of the Joanna Brady series by J.A. Jance.

Yes, that.

Prolly 2 people would have known what they were had I named them properly.

Just recently discovered Audible. Love the service and the $14 monthly fee sure beats shelling out about $50 or so per audio book (the going rate for the Songs of Ice & Fire series, each)

My other favorite books are the Dune series and the long stories by Steven king: The Stand, Under the Dome, etc.

Never seen the tv adaptations of GOT, The Stand or Under the Dome either. Are they any good?

The HBO series is a very good adaptation imo, but HBO is a ripoff if you ask me.

I have an Audible subscription too, but I also get a lot of audiobooks from the Ohio ebook project for free. Not sure if Canada has a similar program.

Hard to believe.....but 25 years ago today, the great Stevie Ray Vaughan died. A sad day for the Blues it was.
