This is the layout the wife wants.

the wall is 47.25 wide... and she was thinking she wanted 8.25 on each side then the herringbone in the middle frame with pencil tile outlining.

KS Master bathroom remodel

Does anybody have any suggestions how to start the diagonal herringbone I'm trying to make it even on both sides and she wants it 31 1/2 wide and that includes the half inch pencil tile on the side I can't get it to center correctly

Not sure I understand your problem, Thomas. Looks to me like you've got it laid out there now. If you don't like the little corner pieces you'll need to change the size of the layout if you still want it centered. If the overall size is non-negotiable, you'll need to live with the small cuts.

My opinion; worth price charged.

Caulk usually same as grout. Is your grout sanded?
