Windows 7 PDF Problem

Anyone have a clue why I can open my pdf files, but when I try to print them the printer will not print the text in the document but will print empty cells or formatting boxes. Is this a security feature in windows 7. I have searched the web but come up with nothing.

Well It was not a problem with Windows 7, it was an issue with Foxit Reader. Adobe works fine. Just in case any one has the same problem.

Sal, awhile ago Adobe was having some issues with .pdf's within websites. If I uploaded a .pdf to one of my websites using foxit then my users with adobe couldn't read it..if I loaded with Adobe, the Adobe users still couldn't read it but foxit did fine. The .pdf forums were all over it and it took months for a fix.

Not that this helps you, but it felt good to vent.

Foxit Reader, put out a fix for the problem, but it did not help. I guess I am stuck with Adobe Reader for now. To bad I really Like Foxit Reader

Greg are you running Windows XP, Windows Vista , Windows 7 or what. Never had a problem with foxit and XP, but so far Windows 7 has run all my programs and I have been very pleased. The only issue I have had was with Foxit.

On this pc I'm running XP, on my new laptop I'm running Vista, but I'm waiting for my Windows 7 upgrade, so I'll let you know if Foxit runs with Windows 7 on my laptop when I switch over.
