Plank Tile pattern

Hi, I am looking to do a tile floor using plank tile. they are 6x36". I am thinking I want to do about a 25% offset on the tile. I want to avoid the stairstep look though. Aside from the wall perimeter I want to keep the tile the full length. Is there a way to do this? All tiles will be parallel. Can I move them up or down an inch on every fifth tile or so to break up the stairstep? Thanks

To avoid the stair step look, just set them an a random pattern....some 25% offset, some 33%, some at perhaps 15% or so. Be creative and try not to repeat the order each row...
