toilet placement question

if toilet is next to shower, I measure 15" from center to side of curb or glass enclosure?

Yeah I always measure 15" center on flange to what I believe my finished tile to be when setting my dams. Would be pushing it pretty tight to go off of enclosure which usually centers on the dam.

In my own bathroom I pushed it to get the biggest shower possible, here's what that looks like. 15 from the glass would probably give you plenty

I think 15 in. from glass is adequate. There is never going to be an actual wall there. I have crowded them closer than that for handicap showers.

15 inches is the bare minimum according to the plumbing code round these parts. 18 inches is ADA and commercial code.

you need enough space for shoulder width, and code wants a minimum of 15". You can get into trouble with an inspector if you don't have at least that amount, and some people will feel cramped even at 15"

What JB said. Res is 15 minimum to glass. More is better.
